I am wondering where the training of the Ingerbritsen brothers fits in with the comments made about polarised or pyramid training? Jacob Ingerbitsen won the Olympic 1500m track and field race and has a relatively large volume of threshold zone training. By threshold I believe it is meant as between LT1 and LT2. They use lactate monitors to keep themselves around 3.0mmol/l
