@steveneal I was curious if you would agree with the results from this VT1/VT2 Test? This was done with a TymeWear shirt after a 20 minute warm-up I started at 180 watts increasing 30 watts per 3 minute step. To me it looks like the Vt1 and Vt2 lines both should be moved slightly to the right however I am very new to interpreting this data. I had an issue connecting my power meter to the TymeWear app so had to merge a Zwift file with the data from TymeWear which may have altered the results. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, if you can merge the data on the TymeWear dashboard (it should time sync everything) then download the csv if possible or fit file, then email me that please I can put it in my softeware which will be better for me to look at it
@trevor-1529 please email it to steve at stevenealperformance dot com
Thank you so much Steve! You have had a massive influence on my training philosophy; I consume every bit of information you put out there. I just sent over the CSV and truly appreciate you taking the time to check it out. Thank you again for all you do for this amazing community.
@trevor-1529 and @steveneal, what is this TymeWear shirt that you speak of?? Does it measure VT1, VT2, and VO2 max, and it is accurate? Tell us more please!
I have not compared it to a metabolic cart however all the research I have seen shows it is accurate. It is a shirt you wear which measure minute ventilation and tidal volume. I definitely recommend checking it out; their support is also AMAZING! @arnar is more than willing to help with questions in my experience.
