Remote Coaching Research Study from Waterford Institute of Technology

Fast Talk Labs Community Coach Members,

We love to follow the science for endurance performance and get excited when we get to be a part of it, too!

A team of researchers from Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland is conducting a study on the remote coaching environment within endurance sports.

The term “coach” in this context is defined as anyone who works with endurance athletes in a coaching or training capacity, namely setting and modifying training, delivering feedback, engaging in communication between athlete/coach, teaching and coaching technical elements amongst other typical roles in the area.

These coaches must conduct some element of their work in an online space e.g., delivering feedback over online training software, using videoconferencing technology, or providing training in an online space.

They have provided a survey that you can take to help with their project.

If this sounds like you, we encourage you to consider participating in this research. Please note that Fast Talk Labs is not affiliated with this study, the researchers, or the Waterford Institute of Technology.
