I would like to hear a deep dive into “Power vs Drag Resistance (form) in swimming”. For reference: Dr Peter Attia interviewed Olav Aleksander Bu, where Coach Olav recalled a swim session in the flume in Tenerife with Kristian Blummenfelt. They got all of Kristian’s metrics, and then had an unnamed Olympic swimmer jump in the flume at the same race pace flume speed for comparison. The Olympic swimmer used exactly HALF the amount of energy as Kristian to go the exact same speed. I think a solid discussion of the How & Why of good body position and focusing on the “intangibles” (read: the ability to swim slow as a way to swim fast (momentum hides defects in form)) would be helpful to many!

Thanks for the suggestion! We’ve added this to our list.

Clicked a link to support. Showed me a page which said “This member isn’t supporting any creators at the moment.”
