Has there been any research into the effects on sleep recovery when using cannabinoids? They are now widely available and legal in many states. I sometimes use a THC/CBD gummy to sleep “better” after a hard workout or evening race, when falling asleep can be challenging. Is using a cannabinoid post HIT effort impacting my recovery during sleep in a positive or negative way? I wake up feeling like I have slept soundly, but is there research that supports how I feel vs. the amount of recovery actually gained for a similar amount of sleep without cannabinoid use?
